Uncle Solomon My one Uncle.😢😢Don’t care, the others were spares. Without a doubt, my best Uncle. If anything had happened to my parents when I was young, I would have been moving in with you & Aunty Catherine. My second parents, my second home. The memories are so much. Being the youngest niece (in the UK), I was in and out your house as a child, staying over at weekends. I appreciate you. Your laughter, your long talks. I’m glad for the moments we have shared in Jamaica on two different trips. Drinking your favour tipple, Captain Morgan, with you in May Pen. You have always given me words of encouragement and told me how proud you are of me. I salute you Uncle. Despite you being with me, every time I’m at work, I find it hard. I can’t hear your voice no longer. Given the times we are now living in, I know what I do for you now, I will do alone. I will dress you in your finery ready to go and be received by the many that have gone before. Your resting place awaits you. Good night Uncle Sala. 🕯🕊 Marilyn Carty
